This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for the digital subscription services offered by Flexlearn Virtual College (Pvt) Ltd (“Flexlearn,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through our website, www.flexlearn.lk.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any Access Plan. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

  1. Our “Try Before You Buy” Philosophy

At Flexlearn, we are committed to providing high-quality, practical career development content. We are confident in the value our services provide. To ensure our platform is the right fit for your needs, we offer all users the ability to listen to a selection of our premium audio lessons completely free of charge, with no sign-up or payment information required.

We strongly encourage all prospective customers to take full advantage of these free lessons. This “try before you buy” model serves as your trial period and allows you to evaluate the quality, format, and relevance of our content before making a financial commitment.

  1. Policy on Digital Goods and Services

Our products are digital subscriptions that provide immediate access to our entire library of audio content. Under the laws of Sri Lanka and standard international practice for digital goods, once access is granted and the service is rendered, the product cannot be “returned.”

Therefore, our policy is as follows:

All purchases of Flexlearn Access Plans (including the Monthly and the Annual are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Once payment is successfully processed and access to the digital library is granted to your account, you will not be eligible for a refund, credit, or exchange, in part or in full, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Dissatisfaction with the content (after having had the opportunity to sample it via our free lessons).
  • Lack of use of the service.
  • Forgetting to cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
  • Accidental purchase.

 

  1. Subscription Renewals

Our membership plans are subscriptions that automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually).

  • You, the user, are solely responsible for managing your subscription.
  • We provide a simple, “1-Click Cancellation” feature within your account dashboard. You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time.
  • If you cancel, your access will continue until the end of your current paid billing period, and you will not be charged again.
  • No refunds will be issued for subscription fees that have already been charged. For example, if your monthly subscription renews on September 15th and you cancel on September 16th, you will not be refunded for that month’s fee, but you will retain access until October 15th and will not be charged again.

 

  1. Exceptional Circumstances (At Our Sole Discretion)

While our no-refund policy is firm, we are committed to fair practice. We may, at our sole discretion, consider offering a credit or other resolution in the following limited and exceptional circumstances:

  • Verifiable Billing Errors: In the event of a proven technical error resulting in an incorrect charge or a duplicate charge from our payment processor.
  • Prolonged Service Unavailability: In the rare event that our platform is inaccessible to all users for an extended and unreasonable period of time (e.g., several consecutive days) due to a major technical failure on our side.

To request a review under these specific circumstances, you must contact our support team at info@flexlearn.lk within 7 days of the transaction, providing your purchase receipt and a detailed explanation of the issue.
