1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Flexlearn. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“user,” “you,” “your”) and Flexlearn Virtual College (Pvt) Ltd (“Flexlearn,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, www.flexlearn.lk, and all related services, including our digital content library (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Services and you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Our Services

Flexlearn provides a digital subscription service offering access to a library of pre-recorded audio lessons and podcasts in the Sinhala language, focusing on leadership training, soft skills, management skills, and professional development.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To access our full library, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account password.
• Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Your account is for your personal use only. Account sharing, selling, or transferring your access to any other individual is strictly prohibited. Violation of this clause is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account without a refund.

 

4. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Flexlearn offers its services through recurring subscription plans, such as the “Monthly Plan” and the “Annual Plan”.

• Recurring Billing: By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the subscription fee at the beginning of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually). Your subscription will automatically renew for the same term unless you cancel it.
• Cancellation Policy: You are in full control of your subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation can be done through a simple, 1-click process in your account dashboard on our website. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
• Effect of Cancellation: If you cancel your subscription, your access to the Services will continue until the end of your current paid billing period. After this period, your access will be revoked, and you will not be charged again unless you manually re-subscribe.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. We will provide you with reasonable prior notice of any price changes by sending an email to the address registered with your account.

 

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable. We operate on a “try before you buy” model, providing free access to a selection of our audio lessons. As such, we do not offer refunds or credits for partially used periods or for forgetting to cancel your subscription. Please refer to our dedicated Refund Policy page for full details.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided on the Flexlearn platform, including but not limited to the audio lessons, podcasts, text, logos, and graphics (“Content”), is the exclusive property of Flexlearn Virtual College (Pvt) Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to stream the Content for your personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not permit you to download (unless explicitly enabled), record, reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly perform the Content.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose. You shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, disrupt the service, or use the content in any manner that violates these Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services, without notice or refund, if you breach these Terms. We may also modify or discontinue our Services at our discretion.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” basis. We provide tools and knowledge for professional development, but we do not guarantee any specific career outcome, promotion, or salary increase. Your success is dependent on your own effort, application, and individual circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flexlearn Virtual College (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
